Asha Singh
Asha Singh is the Founder and CEO of SBS-Corp (Synergistic Business Solutions). She brings to SBS-Corp over two decades of experience in change management, process improvements, QA and technology-based training to the top organizations globally.
Prior to starting her firm SBS-Corp, Asha worked for the World Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM Business Consulting and has over 22 years experience in Organizational Development, Business process reengineering initiatives. Asha is experienced in all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and has provided wide-ranging distributed training solutions. She has particular expertise in training solutions. Using ADDIE methodology– she has designed and delivered wide ranging solutions in Instructor led training (ILT), story boards, prototypes, on-line courses, interactive demos, table-top scenario based training exercises and simulations Asha has trained over 1200 people through her training career and conducted numerous Train-the-Trainer session(s).
Her notable accomplishments in implementing Change Management and technology initiatives at Federal Agencies have been with: Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), United States Postal Services (USPS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Health and Human Services (HHS) and Defense Health Agency (DHA).
Asha has a Masters in Communications (cum laude) from the Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Masters of Arts from Punjab University (India); BA in Psychology (Honors), and Bachelor in Education from Punjab University (India). Certified Project Management and Risk Management professional and a Certified Scrum Master, Asha has applied her learned skills and expertise of Six Sigma, CMMI and ISO 20000 to all processes at SBS-Corp.
Abhi Singh
Abhi is the Senior Vice President for Corporate Finance and Partnerships. He is responsible for managing SBS-Corp’s Corporate Finance function and growing sales through partnerships in the Federal Contracting and Government-related Consulting verticals. He is a growth-and-results focused business builder with expertise in financial markets (debt and equity capital), structured financing and taking a business from zero-to-scale. During his 20-year career in Financial services he generated cumulative PnL of over $500 million for Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Citigroup in the Americas and Europe. He is known for generating new business opportunities and has a strong track record for helping build/scale new growth businesses in various markets and geographies. Additionally, he has prior career experience in the Federal and State government sector at CGI/AMS and at Acumen Solutions (now a Salesforce company).
Abhi has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BSc in Finance from Ithaca College.
Himmat Singh
As a Senior Vice President for Strategy, Finance and Operations, Himmat is responsible for business development, client relationships and project management, but ideally suited to executing special CEO/Board level projects that includes guiding companies through periods of significant change, achieving rapid growth, repositioning, and rightsizing. Through his strategic and execution focused expertise, we can provide tangible value to top and bottom line metrics, help companies restructure, refocus and consolidate and/or even move to new global markets.
Himmat has worked in Management Consulting (Federal; State & Local), Technology (Manufacturing), Industry (Real Estate) and Private Equity. He has extensive hands-on experience with large and small companies, including government contractors, multinationals and lower mid-market companies, in the US and globally. Among the positions, he has held in both large and small companies are CEO of a Healthcare Services Company and Chemicals Company, CIO of an Integrated Glass Manufacturing Firm, Director Strategy & Operations for a Software firm built through strategic acquisitions, and VP, Corporate Finance of a Real Estate Developer.
In a turnaround experience, Himmat grew an effectively bankrupt $3 million firm and doubled sales in less than a year by focusing on the basics and ensuring his employees and customers interests were aligned. His management skills have evolved from the variety of roles in his career and above all he believes motivated and satisfied stakeholders, particularly employees, customers and suppliers, help make good companies great.
Himmat received a BBA degree from The George Washington University in Finance and a MBA degree in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
